Future Relations: A Resource for Radical Teaching  includes illustrations, maps, lesson plans, installations, art works, and motivational sayings that supplement and inspire teachers and activist in their work as cultural leaders. With the present executive leaders in power in the United States we continue to expect an unprecedented and unapologetic attack on our civil rights, our earth, and anybody that thinks contrary to the status quo. We believe that our work as community interventionists is to help our community to envision a better and just world. We believe by visualizing, we start the process of actualization.

As teaching artist, we have collectively, for the past 20 years worked with marginalized communities noting the different issues and challenges of distinct places. At the root we have been struggling with systemized racism and classism. As a group we have been struggling with lack of economic power and spiritual agency. As we continue towards autonomy we must pass this next level of systematic control of bodies and minds. Our struggle continues and our efforts to promote lexicons of freedom to the most vulnerable in our communities need to be raised to a level of ultimate love, awareness, consciousness, and understanding. Future Relations: A Resource for Radical Teaching is a project that centers on lesson plans, art works, and actions from different artist, teachers, and activists that give examples on creative practices that teach towards the eradication of oppressive environments. These works are set forth to arm our children with tools to envision a better world.
